Dubai Dinner Cruise with Children: Tickets, Pickup and Planning
A Dubai dinner cruise with kids is easier to plan when you separate three decisions: the right guest categories, the journey to the boat and the evening schedule. Jack Sparrow Marina and Ocean Express Al Seef both offer child tickets for ages 3–12 and free admission for infants under three. Public bookings require at least one adult. Choose the setting your family prefers, then check the practical arrangements that matter to your children before paying.
This guide uses our two cruises as specific examples. Prices and arrangements below are our confirmed service details, not general rules for every Dubai cruise.

- Infants under three travel free, including pickup.
- At least one adult is required for a public booking.
- Both cruises start boarding at 7:45 PM and depart at 8:30 PM.
- Both have an open upper deck and an air-conditioned lower deck.
- Ocean Express returns at 10:00 PM after approximately 90 minutes. Marina runs for approximately two hours; an exact return time is not confirmed here.
The late departure is worth considering before choosing a cruise. Include the journey back to your accommodation when deciding whether the evening suits your family’s usual routine.

One adult, one child and one infant with pickup
On Marina, tickets cost AED120 + AED100 + AED0 = AED220. Pickup adds AED30 for the adult and AED30 for the child, while the infant remains free. The combined total is AED280.
On Ocean Express, tickets cost AED49 + AED29 + AED0 = AED78. Pickup adds AED21 for the adult and AED21 for the child. With free infant pickup, the combined total is AED120.
For Self Arrival, that same family pays AED220 for Marina or AED78 for Ocean Express in cruise tickets. Add whatever your independently arranged transport costs. A free infant place does not mean you should omit the infant from the guest details: include everyone travelling so the booking reflects your full party.

Choose a workable evening, not just a ticket price
Match the cruise to your accommodation
Marina pickup areas are Barsha, Downtown, Tecom, Dubai Marina and Sheikh Zayed Road. Ocean Express pickup areas are Deira and Bur Dubai. These are service areas; confirm your precise hotel or accommodation address rather than assuming every property with a similar district name is covered.
Pickup starts from 6:00 PM. This is the start of the collection operation, not a guaranteed collection time at your hotel. Give the team your accommodation name, address and reachable contact details, then obtain the actual meeting instructions. Families who need a particular vehicle arrangement should ask about it before selecting pickup.
Save the correct boarding pin
If you choose Self Arrival, use the map for the cruise you booked: Jack Sparrow Marina boarding or Ocean Express Al Seef boarding. The Marina experience boards at Dubai Harbour; searching only for “Dubai Marina” is not a precise arrival instruction.
Plan your journey around 7:45 PM boarding, allowing time for the final walk and check-in. An 8:30 PM departure is not a suggested arrival time. Keep the booking confirmation and map accessible on a charged phone, and contact the team promptly if your journey is delayed.
Think about dinner and the decks
Both experiences include a buffet dinner. A buffet does not, by itself, confirm a children’s menu, a specific allergy arrangement or a particular dish on your sailing. If your child needs something specific, ask whether it can be accommodated before booking. Describe the requirement clearly rather than relying on a general menu label.
The open upper deck and air-conditioned lower deck give two different environments during the evening. A removable light layer can be useful indoors. Ocean Express seating is first come, first served; do not treat a ticket as a reservation for a particular table or deck. Ask about any seating need that would determine whether the trip works for your family.
Questions to settle before travelling
Can we bring a stroller?
Stroller storage and boarding arrangements are not confirmed in this guide. Send the team the stroller type and folded dimensions, and ask where it can be kept. Do this before travelling if bringing it is essential.
Are high chairs available?
High-chair availability is not confirmed here. Ask customer support whether one is available for your chosen date and whether any arrangement can be confirmed in advance.
What if a guest needs assistance boarding?
Ask about the actual boarding route and onboard access for the selected boat. The existence of an air-conditioned deck does not confirm step-free access. Explain the assistance or equipment needed so the team can answer the right question.
Does free infant pickup confirm a particular child seat?
No vehicle equipment is specified by the free-infant pricing rule. Contact the team about the arrangement your family needs and obtain a clear answer before relying on pickup.
What should we have ready on the day?
Keep your full guest count, booking confirmation, chosen arrival method and meeting instructions together. Pack essential personal items in a manageable bag and check any special food or equipment arrangement directly with the team.
