Pickup areas and charges at a glance

These charges are added to the cruise ticket. They are per adult or child, not one flat charge for a hotel room or booking. Area coverage also belongs to the selected cruise: staying in a Marina pickup area does not establish pickup eligibility for Ocean Express.

District names are a first check, not a substitute for a precise address. If your hotel sits near an area boundary, or its name includes a different neighbourhood, send the full location to the team before selecting pickup.

What does “pickup from 6:00 PM” mean?

It means the collection operation starts from that time. It does not mean every guest should expect a vehicle at exactly 6:00 PM. You need the instructions for your accommodation and booking to know when and where to meet.

Avoid building a tightly timed afternoon plan around the general start time. Keep enough flexibility to follow your confirmed collection instructions, and resolve any conflict before the cruise date. If you have a fixed appointment or another excursion beforehand, explain its finish time when you ask about pickup.

Both boats begin boarding at 7:45 PM and depart at 8:30 PM. Those are boat timings, separate from hotel collection. A booking confirmation showing departure time does not replace pickup instructions. If you have selected pickup but do not know your meeting point or collection time, contact the team before travelling.

What information should you provide?

Make your pickup request easy to identify by supplying the cruise name, cruise date, booking reference if available, full hotel or accommodation name, address and a contact number you can use during your stay. Include the adult, child and infant counts for the whole travelling party.

Where a property has several entrances, ask which meeting point to use. Do not assume the vehicle will find you inside a lobby or at a different building with the same brand name. Keep the confirmed instructions available on your phone alongside your reservation.

If you need to bring a stroller, mobility equipment or other large item, describe it before booking transport. Vehicle space, specific equipment and assistance arrangements are not confirmed by a pickup charge alone. The team needs the details to advise accurately.

Check the arithmetic before checkout

For two adults, Marina pickup adds AED60 to AED240 in tickets, giving a combined total of AED300. Ocean Express pickup adds AED42 to AED98 in tickets, giving AED140.

For one adult, one child aged 3–12 and one infant under three, Marina costs AED220 in tickets plus AED60 pickup: AED280. Ocean Express costs AED78 in tickets plus AED42 pickup: AED120. The infant contributes zero to both the ticket and pickup total.

How to arrive independently

Jack Sparrow Marina: use the Dubai Harbour boarding pin

Open the confirmed Jack Sparrow Marina boarding map. The sightseeing experience is associated with Dubai Marina, while boarding is at Dubai Harbour. Entering only “Dubai Marina cruise” into a navigation or taxi app can leave you with a general destination instead of the actual meeting point.

Ocean Express: use the Al Seef boarding pin

Open the confirmed Ocean Express Al Seef boarding map. Al Seef is a waterfront area, so arriving somewhere within it does not automatically put you beside the correct boat. Save the pin attached to this service and keep the cruise name handy.

Allow time for the last part of the journey

Plan to be at boarding at 7:45 PM. Allow for the journey, the final approach on foot and check-in. This guide does not promise a fixed driving time, parking availability or a specific public-transport connection; check your actual route for your departure point and date.

Arrange your onward journey with the cruise duration in mind. Ocean Express returns at 10:00 PM after approximately 90 minutes. Marina lasts approximately two hours, but an exact return time is not confirmed here. Ask the team before arranging a pickup that depends on a precise finish.

Common pickup questions

Can I select pickup if my area is not listed?

Ask the team to check your exact address first. Do not choose a different area simply to get through the booking form. If pickup cannot be arranged, Self Arrival lets you organise your own journey to the correct boarding point.

Does pickup automatically confirm the return transport details?

Confirm the complete transport arrangement for your booking, including the drop-off location and timing. The starting time and area list alone do not specify those details.

What if my hotel changes?

Send the revised accommodation details and booking reference to the team promptly. A different hotel may be in another service area, so do not assume the original meeting arrangements still apply.

What if I am running late?

Contact the team immediately with your booking reference and current location. Do not assume the vehicle or boat can wait. The team can advise based on the circumstances of that evening.
